Dunamis is our senior stud dog and main working dog. He is a purebred Australian Kelpie, and demonstrates the energy, loyalty, and trainability the breed is known for.

The Kelpie was brought to this continent to expedite livestock handling. They could be found in sheep and later on, cattle working environments. On ranches here in North America, as in the Australian bush, the Working Kelpie often works unsupervised, relying on their own wits to find and gather livestock. The Working Kelpie is a keen, active dog always ready to work. Kelpies are working dogs at heart, full of energy and eager for a job to do. It is loyal and devoted to its family.  Kelpies excel at competitive obedience events and dog agility, but also enjoy simple games of fetch.  Australian Kelpies also make excellent watch dogs, and can be trained as seeing-eye dogs.  The Kelpie was a direct forbearer of the Australian Cattle Dog.

Missy is the purebred Australian Cattle Dog.  The Australian Cattle Dog is a loyal, brave, hardworking, herding breed. One of the most intelligent breeds, the dog is agile, well-muscled, powerful and determined while working.  Like the Kelpie from their ancestry, they make great working stock dogs, agility dogs, and farm dogs.
