Cornerstone Horsemanship is proud to be a part of the 2010 Culpeper Harvest Days Farm Tour! Come by and visit with us October 2 & 3! Demos will feature the AQHA stallions Heza Classy Chic & Pepto Spade (pictured). Details can be found on our website.
 

We will also once again be clinicians at the Virginia Equine Extravaganza October 29-31.  Charles will also be judging the Trainer's Challenge.


We had a great time at the Northeast Stock Horse Association show in August, held in Wellsville, PA. Jewel Chic Olena and Michele won the Ranch Riding class (19 horses!) and came in 5th in the ranch cutting. Charles and Pepto Spade got 3rd in Ranch Riding. Ben Baldwin and Heza Classy Chic got 2nd in the Ranch Cutting. Charles won the Ranch Cutting on Duals Cookie Cutter (pictured), owned by Greg & Tina Taylor! Charles also showed Heza Classy Chic to 4th in the ranch cutting and 2nd in the Open Stock Horse class.

Congratulations to all the Cornerstone riders at the 2010 American Ranch Horse Association World Show!  Heza Classy Chic is World Champion Senior Cutting, World Champion Ranch Roping, 10th in Working Ranch Horse, and Senior Ranch Riding finalist.  BA Light Em Up is the 2010 World Champion 3 year old Stallion, 5th in Junior Ranch Trail, 8th in Ranch Riding, and 10th in Junior Cutting.  Faron Holland got 4th in Amateur Cutting on Love A Little Magic.  Ben Baldwin got 6th in Amateur Cutting on Heza Classy Chic.  Heza My Son Of Chic was 5th in the 2 Year Old Stallions class and 9th in 2 Year Old Ranch Riding.  Pepto Spade, owned by Charles & Michele, placed 3rd in the 2 Year Old Stallions class and 6th in 2 Year Old Ranch Riding.  Jewel Chic Olena placed 10th in Junior Ranch Riding.  Maggie Lanham rode Palacios Hickory, a horse in training with Cornerstone, to Reserve World Champion title in Youth Ranch Riding, 5th in Youth Ranch Reining, and 9th in the Youth Reining class.

2010 Cowboy Challenge Series at the farm in Reva, Virginia. The first Challenge of the series will be July 3, with a cookout afterwards. Cowboys and cowgirls will compete to prove their horsemanship skills against obstacles of all kinds.

Of course, all of our Cornerstone training equipment such as halters, leads, and Q-sticks are also available in the store.

Now offering private mini clinics for groups of 3 or 4.  $100 per participant for 4 hours.  A great option for those who can't take a full weekend off.  Flexible on scheduling times/days.  Many options for your group to work on including trail challenge, ranch versatility (cow work, trail, and rail work), ground work, despooking, general horsemanship, or English to Western crossovers.  Available at our facility or yours.
